It saves all business rules, access-control mechanism, business logic, related parts and otherwise middle tier of any application as metadata within a database. It stores the Business logic in the database as “Process Structures” thereby making the application server redundant. All that is to be deployed on the client modes is a tiny 5 MB executable file. The technology reduces a developer’s job to a great extent because it only requires elementary knowledge of SQL.

We have invented a technology that stores ‘business logic’ in the form of ‘process structure’ similar to ‘data structures’ inside the database, unlike in other conventional technologies where the ‘business logic’ are stored as complex programs in the application layer.

This radically different approach significantly reduces effort and time required for building any kind of enterprise applications, and offers immense flexibility and ease in change management and maintenance of the applications.

In effect, the technology has eliminated the need for writing code / programming, complex database related tasks, thus removing technical dependency in business application development and maintenance. It also does away with the staid application server by integrating the application in the database server itself!

The technology is Service Oriented Architecture compliant (SOA) and Business applications built on Axpert™ are co-existing with other popular enterprise applications such as SAP, ORACLE, Siebel, and Legacy applications completely and seamlessly integrated.
